Earth Hour 

Julie Bliven at Charlesbridge has acquired world rights to Nanette Heffernan’s Earth Hour. The nonfiction picture book is about the annual Earth Hour event that encourages individuals, businesses, and communities worldwide to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour, on a specific day in March, as a symbol of global energy conservation. Bao Luu will illustrate; publication is set for spring 2020. Jill Corcoran at Jill Corcoran Literary Agency represented the author, and Alison Person at Astound US represented the illustrator.
